The lives of two American siblings and a Costa Rican fisherman intersect in the waters of life and death.

PESCADOR is a story of two siblings. First, an American Young Woman, a scientist, travels through the beatific vistas and harsh conditions of Costa Rica as she searches for a mythical fish and strains the limits of human connection. After a desperate act, she falls asleep on a bus and the film starts over.

In part 2, a magical lobster grants a lonely fisherman one wish: a son. The Fisherman finds the Young Woman’s erratic brother adrift at sea and nurses him to health. The Son is combative, predatory, and hellbent on escape. Slowly, though, he begins to accept help, learns to fish, and integrates into the community– until their fragile bond is upended.

Pescador asks: What do you sacrifice for isolation? What must you risk to connect?
