Harry Domenico Rossi - writer, director, editor

Harry Domenico Rossi is a Los Angeles born, New York based writer and director and a graduate of University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Past short films include Just A Body, which premiered at Cucalorus. Pescador, his feature debut, is inspired by the nine months he spent in recovery following a near death experience in 2018. Harry’s second feature, De Novo, which he wrote and directed with his wife, Annie Rasiel, is currently in post-production. His pet gecko turned 22 this year.

Isaac Banks - director of photography, executive producer

Isaac Banks is a New York based cinematographer. He studied at UNCSA under the proud mentorship of Michael Chapman, ASC and Thomas E. Ackerman, ASC. Isaac has worked extensively in films and commercials. His first feature film as cinematographer, Lingua Franca (2019), directed by Isabel Sandoval, premiered at Venice Days and was in competition at the BFI London Film Festival, Independent Spirit Awards, and AFI Festival. Isaac recently shot Sandoval’s fourth feature, Moonglow.

Isaac’s recent work also includes The Trophy King, directed by Tighe Kellner and recognized at the ECAs. Beyond the lens, Isaac is deeply attuned to both people and the natural world. He spends much of his free time cycling long distances and sleeping under the stars.

  • Originally from Colorado, Alex is an actor/writer who trained at Carnegie Mellon University and Royal Welsh College. Last year her debut play Ever Yours, a comedy about queer grief, premiered at Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it received a five star review in The Stage and was selected as a “Pick of the Fringe,” later transferring to several London theaters. Now she lives in Brooklyn with her dog.

  • Annie Rasiel is a writer, producer, and director. Her plays have been performed at small theaters across NYC, and her debut feature film as co-writer and co-director (with her husband Harry Rossi) is currently in post production. She also taught primary and secondary school for over ten years.

  • Spencer Bang is an actor and filmmaker based in North Carolina. He loves bizarre and introspective work that challenges preconceived notions about what it means to be alive and human.

    With his creative partners at Nightwire Films, Spencer produces MUSH, a series of absurdist and surreal horror\comedy vignettes designed for social media. They have over 52,000 followers on TikTok.

  • Gimena Cortés is a Costa Rican producer and graduate of the University of Costa Rica. Past work includes producing the web series Dele Viaje 2.0 by José Pablo García, production coordinator of Print Traffic department of the Costa Rica International Film Festival (CRFIC) 2015/16, field producer of the feature film Güilas by Sergio Pucci, and production coordinator of I Have Electric Dreams by Valentina Maurel, awarded for best direction at the Locarno Film Festival and best Latin Film at the San Sebastian Film Festival.

  • Mario Chacón is a Costa Rican artisanal fisherman who has spent his entire life at sea.

    He has taken part in three film projects and is deeply passionate about the ocean and nature.

  • Alex Nomick is a sound designer and sound effects editor for film and television. A graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, his credits include Iñárritu’s The Revenant, Jordan Peele’s Us, Ti West’s Pearl, Netflix’s Outer Banks, the Apple TV series Chief of War, and Taylor Swift’s short film All Too Well. His work centers on emotion, texture, and the small sonic details that bring a story to life. He began his career under the mentorship of Academy Award–winning sound designer Lon Bender and is primarily employed through Los Angeles’ Formosa Group. He is currently working as lead sound designer on Mattel’s upcoming feature Matchbox.

  • Dylan Marx is a composer, musician, engineer and educator. His work ranges from experiments in performance, recording, synthesis, archival sampling, and poetry. He performs live “with band”, and plays in Perfect Band. Working collaboratively, he’s recorded and produced albums for, as well as accompanied, many artists, primarily based in the Los Angeles area. He’s written music for film, television, dance, and for installation work. He currently teaches music at California Institute of the Arts in the School of Dance.

  • Bryce Woods is a an American based filmmaker whose cinematic aspiration is to return silent monochromatic cinema to the prestige and place in the arts that was marooned to obscurity with the advent of talkie movies. Inspired by Rudolf Arnheim’s seminal ‘Film als Kunst’ (Film as Art), Woods also practices creating cinematic images in photography with the moniker Kinokunst (Cinema-art).

  • Tori Lancaster is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker, art director, and production designer with a love for intricate world building and visual storytelling. Her production design credits include feature films Maine and Actors, the television show Couples Therapy (Showtime), and commercial productions for many major brands. She has art directed feature films such as The Miseducation of Cameron Post (Sundance 2018 Grand Jury Prize Winner) and The Sound of Silence. Tori has worked as an art director and assistant art director on many shows including High Maintenance (HBO), Ziwe (Showtime), Flatbush Misdemeanors (Showtime), and Random Acts of Flyness (HBO). An alumnus of University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Tori still loves to collaborate with her fellow alumni. Tori is currently in post-production on her directorial debut feature length film, Mother Future Self.

  • (pronouns: they/them) As a development specialist, Ben works with artists outside the Hollywood norm, striving for a new freedom in cinematic storytelling. As a producer, their films include "Three Fingers" (Sidewalk, Raindance) "Tormenting the Hen" (Indie Memphis, Sidewalk) and  "Homewrecker" (Fantasia, Fantastic Fest). For the Slamdance Group, they are eead of development at the Indie Awards, and a senior programmer at the film festival. In a past life Ben was a film critic and editor at Screen Anarchy.
